The WS1S uses a standard capacity Autotrol 255 valve (pictured without cover, 3/4" connections standard) with a model 440i clock-based control. The system regenerates based on a user specified cycle. The almond colored resin tank, manufactured by Structural, is poly lined and fiberglass reinforced. The standard softener is a "two tank" configuration with a separate round poly brine tank in almond. This softener includes a turbulator type distributor at no extra charge! No turbulator available for 64,000 grain. All softeners supplied with premium grade Ionac C-249 resin, brine valve & safety float, brine tank grid (salt platform), and system by-pass valve. The Logix is a fully programmable time clock control, that features an 8 hour power back-up that maintains your time settings during a power outage. The system also incorporates non-volatile ram to maintain programmed memory settings for up to 99 years. With an optional kit you can remotely mount the control faceplate up to 50 feet away from the softener – like in the kitchen or utility room for convenient control and monitoring of the softener! Polyethylene tubing is typically used during for connection to a water softener or automatic backwashing filter drain fitting. Although 10 feet of tubing is provided at no charge along with the purchase of any of backwashing equipment, longer lengths are sometimes required. This flexible clear polyethylene tubing carries waste water to drain during the regeneration and/or backwashing cycles. Tubing is 5/8" in diameter (1/2" ID) and supplied in 100' rolls. Only available when purchased with a water softener or backwashing filter.

A drain line connection kit is available to easily connect a water softener or backwashing filter drain to a PVC sanitary sewage line. The kit includes a PVC saddle tee that attaches to a 3" PVC drain pipe, 20 feet of polyethylene tubing, a P-trap, & air-gap fitting. All you will need for a professional finish to your installation! The Drain Line Connection kit is only available when purchased along with a water softener or backwashing filter..
